This is a telescope I created for my current studio animation project. I based it off of the references below and made up a “working” gear system used for rotating and lifting the scope. I had a lot of fun adding little details such as the chains, screws, and caps. In a few weeks I plan on surfacing the telescope as I will have even more experience in Substance Painter, but for now I have a first pass surface on display below and Renderman surfaces for the rest of the images.
