Dimension 925 is an office simulator game that takes place in the outer realms of the 4th dimension, where you play as a new employee at the company “Office Space”. Your boss, a 4th dimensional being, aims to make working for him a living hell, constantly tormenting you and handing out work that can seem impossible at times. Your goal is to get through 6 days of work, completing each task given exactly as told within 3 minutes. The difficulty of tasks, as well as the quantity of tasks given increase after each day. While completing your daily duties, you must avoid your other-worldly boss to not get terminated and thrown into the void.
Chillenium 2024's prompt was "hang in there", which really threw my team for a loop. We spent the first 2-3 hours trying and failing to come up with an interesting idea, and eventually we landed on a Stanley Parable type game where you have to deal with a sadistic boss who can never be pleased. After realizing our scope was still too large, we eventually landed on a more simplified concept. These 48 hours were very draining, but ultimately worth it as we were awarded "Best Visuals" out of the ~50 other games we were competing against.
